We are a collaborative network of Swiss researchers dedicated to preclinical and clinical cancer research in the field of urogenital tumors. Our network includes a scientific committee comprised of SAKK members and the Swiss cancer researchers, bringing together experts in the field. 

One of our key objectives is to inspire and foster scientific interactions among the various basic, translational, and clinical research groups in the field of urogenital cancers in Switzerland. To facilitate this, we organize an annual networking meeting where researchers present their ongoing work and engage with partners to further develop their ideas or implement project goals.

Abstract submission

Presentations of ongoing research projects are highly encouraged. Please submit your abstract  (300-word limit) by end of August 2023 to events@sakk.ch. In case of any questions relating to the presentations, please contact J.-P. Theurillat (jean-philippe.theurillat@ior.usi.ch). For presenters of projects, participation at the event is free of charge (hotel and registration).

Award

An award will be given to the best project presented on prostate cancer at the meeting. The award is endowed with CHF 20 000 and aimed at supporting ongoing prostate cancer research. To be considered for the award, please submit in addition to the abstract mentioned above your CV, your publication list, and a 1-page description of your ongoing research and future directions by end of August 2023 to events@sakk.ch.

CHF 160 without hotel room. Hotel rooms must be booked by the participants.
