The Prize, endowed with CHF 50,000, was awarded to two projects, each supported with CHF 25,000: Dr Alexandre Theocharides for his project entitled: "Pharmacoscopy-guided treatment in relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia" and Prof Gabriela Bärlocher for her project entitled: "Modulation of Telomere Biology to increase the expansion of Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cells ex vivo for potent and efficient Stem Cell Transplantation".
